Lake to Lake Relay : Platte River Fitness Series
The Lake to Lake Relay is a team relay held September 26, 2026, between Sutherland Reservoir in Sutherland, Nebraska and Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte, Nebraska. The course covers more than 23 miles along the NPPD canal, beginning at Oregon Trail Golf Course, 608 Birdie Lane, Sutherland, and finishing at Lake Maloney.
Teams may consist of two, three, or four members and run sequential legs to complete the full course. A wave start may be used if team numbers exceed expectations. The organizer permits roster changes after registration, including adding, subtracting, or substituting team members.
Race-day registration and packet pickup are handled at the clubhouse. An event information packet contains full rules and additional details for participants. Registration typically opens four to six weeks before the event date, though specialty events may have a longer registration period.
The event is presented by First Interstate Bank and the Walmart Distribution Center of North Platte and benefits the North Platte Trains Network. PRFS participation points are awarded as follows: 18 points for two-person teams, 12 points for three-person teams, and 8 points for four-person teams.
