Lake Rumble Run and Marathon
The Lake Rumble Run is held at Neil Hawkins Park in Joondalup, Western Australia. The event follows a route that hugs the banks of Lake Joondalup within the setting of Yellagonga Park. The course is characterized by a fast track with subtle undulations and is sheltered from the weather elements.
Participants can choose from a variety of race distances:
- 5 km (Kookaburra)
- 14 km (Paperbark)
- 21 km (Turtle)
- 28 km (Enduro)
- 42.2 km (Lake Rumble Marathon)
The event is based on training traditions established by a local training group over several years. The start and finish lines are located within Neil Hawkins Park. Drink stations are provided along the course to support participants throughout their run.
Registration is open for all distances, and the event manages participant information, transfers, and cancellations through its central system. This running event offers an old school mix of distances in a natural lakeside environment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
