Event Information
The Lake Festival 5k is a running event taking place on Saturday, July 25, 2026. The race begins and ends at the corner of Ash Street and Lakeshore Drive in Celina, Ohio. The course is a certified out-and-back route along Grand Lake.
Entry Details
Entry fees are tiered based on registration date. Pre-registration without a shirt is $15 if completed by July 24, 2026. Pre-registration with a shirt is $30 if completed by July 6, 2026. Race-day registration is available for $20 without a shirt from 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM at the race location. Runners aged 14 and under can participate for free. A separate online store is available for shirt orders after the July 6 deadline.
Awards
Awards include medals for the top three overall male and female finishers. Medals are also awarded to the first, second, and third-place finishers in each age group. Special awards are given for the runner traveling the furthest distance, the youngest runner, and the oldest runner. Additional awards are provided for setting new course records, with the current records set in 2011.
Race Features
The event features chip timing. Water is provided on the course, with split times available at the 1-mile and 2-mile marks. Refreshments are available at the finish line, and restrooms are located at the park. The event is part of the larger Mercer Health 5k Challenge, which consists of seven other races.
