Lake Festival 5k
The Lake Festival 5k is a certified out-and-back race along Grand Lake that begins and ends at the corner of Ash and Lakeshore Drive in Celina, Ohio. The course is an out-and-back layout certified for the 5K distance.
Pre-registration is available; the fee without a shirt is $15 if registered by July 24, 2026. A pre-registration option that includes a shirt is $30 if registered by July 12, 2026. Race-day registration is $20 without a shirt. Registration opens February 5, 2026 and closes July 24, 2026. Runners aged 14 and under are free for 2026. Shirt orders after the July 12 deadline are available through the race webstore.
Awards include medals for the top three male and female finishers and medals for first through third place in each age group. Additional awards recognize the runner traveling the furthest distance and the youngest and oldest participants. Awards are also provided for setting new course records.
Timing and on-course services include chip timing, mile splits at the 1-mile and 2-mile marks, and water available on the course. Refreshments are provided at the finish and restrooms are available at the park. The Lake Festival 5k is part of the Mercer Health 5K Challenge, a series of seven events held between late June and early August. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
