Lahinch Hyrox Simulation II and Half Rox : 10 October 2026
The event takes place at Lahinch Leisure Centre on 10 October 2026 and offers a full HYROX Simulation and a new Half Rox format. Entries are strictly limited and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. All divisions are offered in Singles and Doubles.
The full HYROX Simulation uses a race format where each station is preceded by a 1 km run. Stations in the full format are 1000 m Ski, 50 m Sled Push, 50 m Sled Pull, 80 m Burpee Broad Jumps, 1000 m Row, 200 m Farmers Carry, 100 m Sandbag Lunges, and 100 Wall Balls. The Half Rox follows the same station sequence with 500 m runs between stations to provide a shorter race distance.
Timing and race management are standardized: all categories are chip timed for split tracking and ranking. The event features increased lane capacity and tighter heats, professional heat management, a clear briefing, lane judges, standardized equipment, and marked zones. The setup is described as simulating official race conditions to support athletes preparing for HYROX events, first-time participants seeking a benchmark, and training partners competing in Doubles.
The venue is by the coast at Lahinch Leisure Centre. Equipment, timing, and lane procedures are consistent across categories to allow direct comparison of results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
