Lahinch Half Marathon and 6 Mile, September 20, 2026

The race starts and finishes on Lahinch Promenade and follows a coastal loop that passes through the village of Liscannor. The route runs along the Wild Atlantic Way with ocean views to the left and Clare countryside to the right. The course surface is a mix of tarmac roads and the route maps are provided to registered runners.

The event includes chip timing with instant results and a custom finisher medal for participants. A race T-shirt is available by pre-order. Water stations are placed on course and there are post-race refreshments on the promenade. The course is fully marshalled by JustRace and supported by local GAA clubs and community volunteers. A bag drop service is provided at the start and finish area and medals are collected at the finish on Lahinch Promenade.

Age limits apply: the half marathon is for those aged 18 and over on race day, and the 6 Mile is for those aged 16 and over. The event welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers.
