Lahinch Half Marathon and 6 Mile, September 20, 2026

This coastal event starts and finishes on Lahinch Promenade and includes a loop through the village of Liscannor along the Wild Atlantic Way. The route runs beside the Atlantic Ocean with Clare countryside on the inland side and is supported by local community volunteers and GAA clubs.

Entry includes a custom finisher medal, pro photos, a high quality race T shirt available by pre order, and chip timing with instant results. The course is fully marshalled, has water stations and post race refreshments, and offers a bag drop service at the promenade. The surface is a mix of tarmac roads and full route maps are provided to registered runners.

Age and participation guidelines state that the Half Marathon is open to those aged 18 and over on race day and the 6 Mile to those aged 16 and over on race day. The event accommodates runners, joggers, and walkers and is set in Lahinch town centre with parking information provided to registered participants.
