About the race
The Lahinch event on 20 September 2026 in Lahinch, Co. Clare offers two measured road race distances along the Wild Atlantic Way coastline and surrounding Clare countryside. Routes start and finish in Lahinch and run out along the Liscannor Road with coastal views, pass through Liscannor village, then return through rolling country roads to the finish on the Promenade.

Race services include chip timing with instant results, a custom finisher medal and a race T-shirt for every entrant, on-course water stations and post-race refreshments, secure bag drop at the start/finish area, trained marshals and volunteer support, and professional finish-line photography available to purchase. Hydration stations are positioned roughly at 6 km, 12 km and 18 km for the half; the 6 Mile has a water station near 6 km. Official pacers will be present for several target finish times.
Practical arrangements include number collection on the day before and on race morning, multiple parking areas close to the promenade and leisure centre, toilets at the start/finish and along the route, and medical support on race day.
