Lady Garden Family Challenge

The Lady Garden Family Challenge is a charity running event held in London to support the Lady Garden Foundation. The foundation works as a national women's health charity to raise awareness and funding for gynaecological cancers. The event takes place at the Bandstand in Battersea Park and invites individuals, families, and colleagues to participate in organized runs.

The course is set entirely on paved paths within the park grounds. Participants complete a different number of laps depending on their chosen distance. Registration takes place on the day of the event at the event hub near the Bandstand, where participants also collect their race numbers. All finishers receive a medal and a goody bag for their participation.

The available distances for this event are:

  • 5 km (two laps of the course)
  • 10 km (four laps of the course)

Battersea Park is accessible via various transport methods. Training stations including Battersea Park Station, Queenstown Road Station, and Victoria Station are located within walking distance of the park. Several bus routes also serve the area. For those traveling by car, there are three pay and display parking areas at Albert Gate, Chelsea Gate, and Rosery Gate, though spaces are limited. The venue provides facilities for disabled access, and the course itself follows the park's path network. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
