Event Overview
The Labor Day Triathlon is a multisport event. It is organized by the South Davis Recreation Center. The event takes place at the center located at 550 North 200 West in Bountiful, Utah.
Distances
Three main event formats are offered:
- Sprint: A swim of 350 yards, a bike leg of 12 miles, and a run of 3.35 miles.
- Relay: A 2-3 person team format covering the Sprint distances.
- Novice: A shorter course with a 150-yard swim, a 2.4-mile bike, and a 1.5-mile run. A separate youth category for ages 13 and under is available.
Awards and Participant Items
Awards are given for the overall male and female winners in the Sprint category, as well as for the top three in each Sprint division. Awards are also given for the top three in each Novice youth division. All participants receive a finisher medal, a race bag, and a custom technical shirt.
Additional Information
An optional beginner clinic and group ride is held on a Wednesday before the event. Packet pickup is available on the morning of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
