La Vida Sucia Animal Series: Raccoon Run
The Raccoon Run is the inaugural event of the La Vida Sucia Animal Series, held on January 30, 2027, at Whittier Narrows Nature Center in South El Monte, California.
The event offers the following distances:
- 10K Trail Run (6.2 Miles)
- 5K Trail Run (3.1 Miles)
- Kids dash (100 Yards)
The kids dash is designed for young participants and gives every child the opportunity to cross the finish line and take part in the series.
Registration for the races includes an official race bib, an exclusive Animal Series finisher medal, professional race organization, access to the Whittier Narrows Nature Center trails, and a finish line celebration.
Registration windows and fees listed for each event are:
- 10K registration fee $45.00; registration opens August 14, 2026 and closes September 16, 2026.
- 5K registration fee $35.00; registration opens August 14, 2026 and closes September 16, 2026.
- Kids dash registration fee $15.00; registration opens August 14, 2026 and closes December 16, 2026.
