About the race
La Romànica Navàs is a multi‑modal sporting event held in the town of Navàs, located between the Bages and the Berguedà in the Catalunya Central. The routes follow the path marked by the GR-176 and pass by roman‑style hermitages, using local tracks, forest paths and rural roads.
Distance options include:
- La Romànica: 79 km walking or running
- La Minor: 27 km walking or running
- L’Hòstia: 42 km mountain bike on tracks
- La ReHòstia: 38.5 km technical and competitive bike route
- La Trompada: 28 km technical non competitive bike route
The long route (79 km) is described as an autoguided endurance route with 2,500 m of ascent and 10 aid stations. In a recent edition organizers offered a daytime variant so most of the route could be completed in daylight, while the final section could require night navigation. The shorter walking/running route (27 km) has about 700 m of ascent and four aid stations.
Participation rules note a minimum age of 14 years when accompanied by an adult and require acceptance of the event regulations. The event combines on‑foot and bicycle modalities across varied terrain in the Catalunya Central. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
