La Cruda 5K and 1 Mile
La Cruda is a running event held on January 1, 2027 in Old Town Helotes, Texas. The course offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile
The event provides gender specific tech shirts when registered by midnight 12/15/26. Finisher medals are given to the first 1200 finishers. Awards include Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters 40+ Male and Female, and 1st through 3rd place in age groups 1-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Registration pricing is tiered by date: $35 until 4/30/26, $40 from 05/01/26 until 10/31/26, $45 from 11/01/26 until packet pick-up on 12/26/26, and $50 from 12/26/26 until race day. Children ages 4-11 register for $10 with an optional $10 shirt purchase and are not eligible for awards. Children age 3 and under attend free with a paid adult. The event policy states no refunds.
Packet pick-up includes an early pick-up with time and place to be determined, a packet pick-up on Saturday, December 26, and packet pick-up available on race day at the race site.
