La Cruda 5K and 1 Mile
La Cruda is scheduled for January 1, 2027 in Old Town Helotes at 14391 Old Bandera Rd., Helotes, TX 78023. The event offers two course options and will limit participation to 1500 entrants.

Awards are given overall and by age group. Categories include Overall Male/Female and Overall Masters (40+) Male/Female. Age-group awards (1st, 2nd, 3rd) cover these brackets: 1-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
Finisher medals and shirts are provided to the first 1500 finishers. The event notes it will sell out at 1500 entrants.
Registration pricing (by date ranges shown):
- $35 until 04/30/26
- $40 from 05/01/26 until 10/31/26
- $45 from 11/01/26 until packet pick up on 12/26/26
- $50 from 12/26/26 until race day
Children 4–11: $10 registration with optional shirt purchase for $10; these children are not eligible for awards. Children 3 and under are free with a paid adult; an adult must attend with children. Gender specific tech shirts are guaranteed if registered by midnight 12/15/26.
Packet pick-up includes an early pickup on Saturday, December 26th (time and place to be determined) and pickup at the race site on event day. The event has a no refunds policy; transfer or resale instructions are provided in confirmation materials or by contacting the event organizer.
