La Cruda 5K and 1 Mile : Old Town Helotes
La Cruda is a road running event held on January 1, 2027, in Old Town Helotes, Texas. The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
The course follows a published route through Old Town Helotes. Awards are given for overall Male and Female and overall Masters (40+) Male and Female. Age-group awards are offered for the following groups: 1-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
Finisher medals are provided to early finishers, with a limited number of medals available. The event limits participation and will sell out at 1500 entries. Gender specific technical shirts are guaranteed for those registered by December 15, 2026. Child pricing is specified for ages 4 to 11 with an optional shirt purchase; children age 3 and under may attend free when accompanied by a paid adult.
Registration fees increase over defined registration periods. The event has a no refunds policy for personal decisions not to attend; registration transfer or resale instructions are provided to participants. Packet pick-up is available on a designated date before the event and also on race day at the race site.
