La Cruda 5K
La Cruda 5K is scheduled for January 1, 2027 in Old Town Helotes at 14391 Old Bandera Rd., Helotes, TX 78023. The event offers an in-person 5 kilometer race and a 1 mile event, plus a Virtual 5K option.
Registered participants may receive gender specific tech shirts if they register by midnight on 2026-12-15. Finisher medals are provided to the first 1,200 finishers. Early packet pick-up is planned for Saturday, December 26; additional packet pick-up is available at the race site on race day.
Awards are given for overall Male and Female and Overall Masters (40+) Male and Female. Age-group awards for 1st through 3rd place are offered in the following groups: 1-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Children aged 4-11 may register at a reduced fee and are not eligible for awards; children 3 and under may attend free with a paid adult. Adult supervision is required for children.
The published registration fee schedule shows tiered pricing from $35 up to $50 depending on registration date. A no-refund policy applies to personal decisions not to attend.
