The Quimper Corrida is a festive running event that takes place in the charming cobbled streets of Quimper, between the Steir and Odet rivers. Participants can admire the old half-timbered houses and the Saint-Corentin Cathedral while running. Traditionally scheduled between Christmas and New Year's Day, this race attracts around 5,000 spectators each year.
Runners are encouraged to dress up, with prizes awarded for the best costumes. Each participant receives a gift when collecting their race number, and a raffle is held at the end of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
