LA Cancer Challenge 2026
The LA Cancer Challenge is a 5K Walk/Run held on the campus of UCLA on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The event benefits the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research and reports ongoing fundraising activity, including more than $12.1 million raised since 1998. At the time of listing the event reported $83,273 raised toward a $750,000 goal.
The event program includes a Fit Family Expo with a Candyland Kids Zone, health and fitness vendors, music, entertainment, costume contests for adults and a kids costume parade, a raffle and a silent auction. Participants can register as a team captain, individual or youth, and registered participants are eligible to earn incentives based on cumulative fundraising levels.
Packet pick up is available before race day at Big 5 Sporting Goods in Santa Monica, and on event day a pre registration area is provided. The 5K course starts in Wilson Plaza and finishes outside Annenberg Stadium, passing campus landmarks such as the Bruin Bear and the John Wooden Statue. Parking is available in Lot 4 with self service pay stations and costs from $5 to $13 for one to three hours or $17 for all day. Sponsors support the event so that 100 percent of participant raised funds go to patient support services and research. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
