Kyrene Rise 5K
The Kyrene Rise 5K is the inaugural community run and walk supporting Kyrene students and programs. The event is scheduled for September 27, 2026 and is set at Kiwanis Park - North Entrance, 101 West Baseline Road, Tempe, AZ.
The event offers multiple participation options:

A virtual run option is available for participants who prefer to complete the event at another location. Mail-in registration is accepted through September 20, 2026.
All in-person participants receive a custom event finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a $5 reduction. The 5K is chip timed with real time results and event photos available online or via the event mobile app. Male and female awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group for the 5K; age groups range from 8 & Under through 80 & over. Pre- and post-race refreshments are provided as part of a "Runner's Brunch."
Race logistics note that packet pick-up is available the day before at a specified location and also on race day at Kiwanis Park. The course is subject to change for safety. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed. Leashed pets are permitted. There is no bag check because of the common start and finish, and the event proceeds rain or shine with no refunds for weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
