Kyrene Rise 5K
The Kyrene Rise 5K is an inaugural community run and walk supporting Kyrene students and programs. The event takes place at Kiwanis Park - North Entrance in Tempe, Arizona on September 27, 2026. It is organized by StartLine Racing.
The event offers multiple ways to participate and receive event items. Distances include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Virtual Run with mailed packet
All participants receive a custom event finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with an option to select no shirt for a $5 discount. The 5K distance is chip timed and features male and female age group awards for the top three finishers in each listed age group. Virtual participants receive the same swag; virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses and virtual packets are mailed the week following the event.
Race policies and services include acceptance of wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons, a leashed pet policy, and a prohibition on roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices on course. The course may change if the Race Director deems it unsafe. Packet pick-up is available the day before and on race day at the event location.
