Kyrene Rise 5K : Kiwanis Park, Tempe
The Kyrene Rise 5K is an inaugural community run and walk held in support of Kyrene students and programs. The event brings together students, families, staff, and neighbors for a morning focused on health, wellness, school spirit, and community connection. It takes place at Kiwanis Park North Entrance in Tempe, Arizona on September 27, 2026.

- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Virtual Run
All participants receive a custom event finisher’s medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a reduced fee. Virtual participants receive the same finisher items and have their packets mailed the week following the event; virtual registration is restricted to US addresses. The 5K is chip timed with real time results and event photos available online or via the event mobile app.
There are male and female age group awards for the top three finishers in each listed age group, spanning youth through older adult categories. The event welcomes wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on course. Leashed pets are permitted. Packet pick-up is available the day before and on race morning. The event is managed by StartLine Racing and proceeds in rain or shine with no weather-related refunds.
