Kyrene Rise 5K
The Kyrene RISE 5K is an inaugural community run and walk supporting Kyrene students and programs. The event takes place in Tempe at Kiwanis Park, North Entrance, and uses 101 West Baseline Road as the listed address. It is described as family friendly and brings together students, families, school staff, and neighbors with a focus on health, wellness, school spirit, and community connection.

Participants receive a custom event finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a reduced fee. The 5K is chip timed and results and race photos are available after the event. Male and female age group awards are given to the top three in each age group for the 5K, with categories from 8 & Under through 80 & Over. The event includes a pre- and post-race runner's brunch with light refreshments. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed. The course is subject to change if deemed unsafe by the race director. Packet pick-up is available the day before the event and on race morning.
