About the race
KTR Ilhabela 2026 is a mountain trail running event held in Ilhabela, SP on Saturday, 07 November 2026, with the arena located at Praia do Perequê. The event offers four distances:
- 42 km
- 21 km
- 12 km
- 8 km
The athlete kit includes a personalized KTR shirt, a visor or cap, a race bib with chip and a bag. Special kit items from the sponsor Kailash vary by registration lot and may include a bag, casaco, finisher shirt and a stuff backpack.
The event follows a semi-autosufficient model: routes run through mountain and trail terrain and have mandatory equipment lists that increase with distance. Required items include a hydration system (minimum volumes vary by distance), an anorak or windbreaker in some distances, whistle, first-aid roll (atadura, gaze, esparadrapo) and, for longer distances, emergency blanket, head protection and a mobile phone. There will be strategic aid points with re-supply options.
Kit pickup takes place at the Arena KTR on the days before the race; presentation of original photo ID and, for 21 km and 42 km, a medical certificate copy is required. A technical briefing on 06 November 2026 is mandatory for 21 km and 42 km and recommended for 8 km and 12 km. Rules cover age limits, category SOLO, equipment checks and environmental conduct.
