Kootenai River Run 5K and 10K
The event is a set of road races in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, held as part of the Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce Kootenai River Days and sponsored by Idaho Forest Group. Both courses run in and around the city and start and finish at the Boundary County Fairgrounds, located four blocks west of town.

Entry fees are listed as $30 (CAD $40) with a tech t-shirt and $15 (CAD $20) without a t-shirt. Entries will be accepted on the morning of the race with no late fee. Preregistered finishers receive a t-shirt unless the no-shirt option was chosen; a limited number of extra shirts may be available on race day.
Aid stations are located at the finish line and near the 1 and 2 mile points for 5 km runners, and near the 1, 2, 4, and 5 mile points for 10 km runners. Trophies are presented to overall male and female winners in each race. Ribbons are given to the top three finishers in the following age groups: 0 to 11 years, 12 to 15 years, 16 to 19 years, 20 to 29 years, 30 to 39 years, 40 to 49 years, 50 to 59 years, 60 to 69 years, and 70 years and older.
Teams of five may combine times for a team prize. Door prize drawings are held after the race and the grand prize is a $125 gift certificate toward running shoes. Net proceeds support local student college scholarships and the Bonners Ferry High School cross-country program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
