About the race
The 2026 Komen Houston Race for the Cure is organized by Susan G. Komen and takes place on October 3, 2026 at Sam Houston Park, 1000 Bagby St., Houston, TX 77002. The event is presented as a premier 5K running event and offers both in-person and virtual participation. The primary running option covers approximately three miles and there is also a one-mile route available.

Packet pick-up is available at DICK’S Sporting Goods, 2131 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, with scheduled pick-up dates in late September and early October. Only service animals are allowed on site. The event includes survivor-focused activities such as a Pathway of Hope/Survivor Parade and a Hope Village Celebration in Sam Houston Park.
