The Cologne GAG New Year's Eve Run is an annual running competition that takes place on the last day of the year in Merheimer Heide. Participants can choose between a 5 km and a 10 km run or compete in various relays. The course runs through a traffic-free park area and is recognized by the German Athletics Association (DLV) and eligible for record lists.
