Koinonia 5K
Koinonia 5K takes place on May 23, 2026 at Koinonia in Highland Lake, New York. The event offers multiple participation options and supports the camp’s nine-week Nature Day Camp with proceeds funding camp scholarships, youth scholarships for other Koinonia programs, and operational support for day camp activities and staffing.

- 2K Dress-Up Dash family fun run and walk
- Virtual 5K option to complete remotely
The professionally timed 5K includes a new Koinonia 5K logo t-shirt, all-day access to Koinonia hiking trails, boating and fishing areas, and race photos available after the event. The Dress-Up Dash registration includes games and activities, the same all-day access, and post-event photos. Virtual participants may complete the 5K from any location and may opt in for the event giveaway.
Timing services are provided by Catskills Timing. Awards are given at an awards ceremony following the 5K with medals for the top three men and top three women, and a participation award for children age 10 and under. Participants may register as fundraisers; donations are tax deductible as allowed by law and the top event fundraiser receives a prize basket. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed after May 1.
