Event overview
The Koinonia 5K takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Koinonia in Highland Lake, New York. The starting line and parking are at the Koinonia Conference Center, 165 Lakeview Drive Rd, Highland Lake, NY 12743. The course runs along the camp road and a course map will be provided ahead of the race.

Registration for events opens January 19, 2026. Listed entry fees are $25 for the 5K Run, $15 for the Family Fun Run/Walk, and $25 for the Virtual 5K.
Race services and purpose
Race timing for the 5K is provided by Catskills Timing. Race registrations include a professionally timed 5K, a new Koinonia 5K logo t-shirt, all-day access to the camp hiking trails, boating and fishing areas, and post-event race photos available on the race website. An awards ceremony will follow the 5K with medals for the top three men and top three women; all children 10 and under receive a participation award.
The event raises funds for Koinonia's nine-week summer Nature Day Camp. Proceeds support camp scholarships, youth scholarships for other Koinonia programs, and operational costs for day camp activities and staffing.
