Koinonia 5K
The Koinonia 5K takes place on May 23, 2026, at Highland Lake, New York. The starting line and parking are at the Koinonia Conference Center, 165 Lakeview Drive Rd. The event route runs along the camp road through the Koinonia property, and a course map will be provided before the event.
The program includes a professionally timed 5K run, a Family Fun Run/Walk for participants who prefer to run or stroll at their own pace, a Virtual 5K option for remote participants, and a breakfast add-on. Registrations for the timed 5K include a new event logo t-shirt, all-day access to Koinonia hiking trails, boating and fishing areas, and post-event photos. Fun Run registrations include games and activities during and after the event plus the same all-day access and photos.
Proceeds support Koinonia's nine-week Nature Day Camp. Funded items include camp scholarships, youth scholarships for other Koinonia programs, and operational funds for day camp activities and staffing. An awards ceremony will follow the 5K with medals for the top three men and top three women; all children age 10 and under will receive a participation award.
