The Koberstädter Forest Marathon is a traditional running competition that has been held annually on the last Sunday in August in Egelsbach since 1979. The event offers races over distances of 5 km, 10 km, and a half marathon, as well as a Bambini run for the youngest participants. Additionally, there are special championships for Egelsbach and the fire department.
