Klondike Ultra
The Klondike Ultra is a multi-distance trail running event held in the Fort Assiniboine Sandhills Wildland Provincial Park near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It offers races ranging from 6 km for kids to an ultra 100 km challenge. The courses feature unique terrain alongside the Athabasca River, including valley bottoms, old wagon trails, ancient sand dunes, moss-covered boreal forests, and single-track trails with rolling hills.
Runners experience a mix of sandy ascents, fast descents, and scenic views of old growth cottonwoods and birch trees.
