Kiwanis River Run : Event overview
The Kiwanis River Run takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at George’s River Ranch, 8805 CA-41, Fresno, CA 93720. This is the 4th annual event organized by Kiwanis River Run. Proceeds support the Pediatric Trauma - Injury Prevention Program at Valley Children’s Hospital. The venue includes a shaded start/finish area next to the San Joaquin River and free parking close to the event area.

The course uses off-road and trail surfaces and follows routes along the San Joaquin River. There are three route options at the site. Check-in opens at 7:00 AM on race day. Race packet pick-up is available at Fleet Feet Fresno (9447 N Fort Washington Rd. #106) on the Friday before the event from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Every participant receives a custom t-shirt and a finisher medal and is provided access to a free breakfast that includes crepes with strawberries and whipped cream, coffee, and juice. The 5K awards include a plush prize for the top three and special gold medals for overall male and female winners.
