Kirtland Heritage Run
The Kirtland Heritage Run is a community running event held in Kirtland, Ohio on June 20, 2026. The event began in 1984 during the early days of the Strawberry Festival. Routes pass the Kirtland Temple, Historic Kirtland Village, and surrounding neighborhoods in the City of Faith and Beauty.
Distances offered:
- 5K route to Kirtland Temple, Historic Kirtland Village, and nearby neighborhoods.
- 1K Fun Walk route to Kirtland Temple and surrounding area.
Registration details note that the 5K registration includes a race bib and a finisher medal, while Fun Walk registration includes a race bib. Race t-shirts are available as an add-on. Registration periods run from February 10, 2026; the 5K registration closes May 16, 2026, and Fun Walk registration remains open through race day, June 20, 2026.
Packet pick-up is available Thursday, June 18, and on race morning; Thursday pickup is at Sunoco Gas Station, 9100 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland. Parking is available at Kirtland City Hall, 9301 Chillicothe Road, and Lakeland Community College, 7700 Clocktower Drive, with shuttles available.
