Kingwood Texas Freedom Run
The Kingwood Texas Freedom Run is a July 4, 2026 community running event held at Town Center Park in Kingwood, Texas. The event offers in-person and virtual race options across multiple distances and includes a kids dash for participants aged 10 and under.
Distances include:
- 8 miles Two laps of the 4 mile course.
- 4 miles One lap in honor of the 4th.
- 2 miles One mile out and a turnaround.

Registration opens on November 17, 2025; registration deadlines vary by event, with some in early January, March, or June 2026. Entry fees differ by event and range from youth and volunteer rates up to listed virtual race fees. All event participants receive a custom poly-tech race shirt, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Overall and age-group awards are given to competitive finishers.
