Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN
The Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN is a community running event on July 4, 2026 in Kingwood, TX at Town Center Park (8 N Main St). The event offers on-site and virtual options and runs on routes that use the Kingwood Greenbelt trails.
Distances included:
- 8-mile - two 4 mile laps on the greenbelt course.
- 4-mile - one lap on the greenbelt trails.
- 2-mile - out-and-back with a one-mile turnaround.
- Kids Dash - a short 100–200 m sprint for ages 10 and under; parents may accompany.
Virtual events allow participants to run at their chosen time and place; virtual registration includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping or pickup options. A Volunteer then Run option pairs volunteer service with a reduced registration fee; volunteers assist with on-course and finish-area tasks and receive race swag and a future event entry.
All participants receive a custom poly-tech race shirt, finisher medal, and race bib. Award categories are provided for overall and age-group finishers across the distances, with separate male and female awards and masters and grand masters divisions for certain races. The event benefits Team RWB, Torch of Freedom Foundation, and Turning Point USA. Pre-race and post-race activities include music, sponsor booths, a pre-race warm-up, and finishers tent services.
