Kingwood Texas Freedom Run
Organized by Rad Racing Company, this Fourth of July event takes place in Kingwood, Texas at Town Center Park and uses sections of the Kingwood Greenbelt trails. The event includes in-person and virtual race options and lists charitable partners Team RWB and Torch of Freedom Foundation. All participants receive a custom poly-tech race shirt, a finisher medal and a race bib. Overall and age-group awards are given to race winners.
The event program includes a kids dash, multiple race distances and a volunteer option that allows participants to help on race day and still run. An exclusive event swag pack is available at packet pick-up while supplies last. There is also a sack-race showdown with limited availability.
Distances:
- 8 mile two 4 mile laps
- 4 mile one lap in honor of the Fourth
- 2 mile out-and-back with a one mile turnaround
- Kids Dash 200 m partial lap around Town Center Park
Volunteers who register under the Volunteer then Run option assist with packet pick-up, medals, water and finish-line duties and receive race swag and a free entry to a future Rad Racing Company event. The event schedule includes pre-race music, sponsor booths, a warm-up session and post-race refreshments and results at the finishers tent.
