Kingwood Texas 4th of July Freedom Run
Rad Racing Company stages a community running event on July 4, 2026 in Kingwood, Texas at Town Center Park (8 N Main St). The event offers several in-person race options and parallel virtual races.
The in-person distances include:
- 8 miles
- 4 miles
- 2 miles
- Kids Dash for ages 10 and under
Virtual race options are available for the 8 mile, 4 mile and 2 mile distances, allowing participants to complete the distance remotely. A volunteer-then-run registration option pairs race-day volunteer duties with participation in either the 4 mile or 2 mile event; volunteers receive race swag and a future event entry.
The race course uses sections of the Kingwood Greenbelt trails and activities center around Town Center Park. All participants receive a custom poly-tech race shirt, a finisher medal and a race bib. Overall and age-group awards are planned for top finishers. An exclusive swag pack supporting the event charities will be available at packet pick-up while supplies last.
The event supports Team RWB, Torch of Freedom Foundation and Turning Point USA. Fundraising elements include recognition for top donors and incentives tied to individual donations. Event-day features include pre-race music, sponsor booths, warm-up activities and post-race results, refreshments and a finishers tent.
