Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN
Rad Racing Company organizes the annual Independence Day running event in Kingwood, Texas, held at Town Center Park on July 4, 2026. The event features on-site and virtual race options and benefits Team RWB and the Torch of Freedom Foundation.
Distances on course:
- 8 miles Two 4-mile laps.
- 4 miles One 4-mile lap.
- 2 miles Out-and-back; 1 mile out then turnaround.
- Kids Dash 200 m partial lap around Town Center Park; parents may accompany.
All event participants receive a custom poly-tech race shirt, finisher medal and race bib. Awards are given for overall and age-group winners; overall winners receive a free invite to a future Rad Racing Company event. An exclusive swag pack supporting the partner charities is available at packet pick-up while supplies last.
Virtual options are offered for the 8-mile, 4-mile and 2-mile distances; virtual entries have separate registration terms and fees. A Volunteer then Run option provides discounted registration in exchange for race-day volunteer duties; full race volunteers receive race swag and one free entry to a future Rad Racing Company event.
Additional event features include pre-race warm-up, music, sponsor booths, a Best Fourth Attire contest, a sack-race showdown with limited availability, and post-race finishers tent with results, refreshments and awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
