The Vertical Kilometer of Blayeul is a legendary race that will take place for the first time in October 2024, marking its 9th edition. Located in the Alpes de Haute Provence, this renowned vertical challenge features a 2.9 km course with a positive elevation gain of 1000 meters. Participants will start individually every 30 seconds, with a refreshment station provided at the summit.
Although this year the race is not part of the Tour du Vernet, it will be accompanied by a two-day challenge, including the Digne-les-Bains Trail the following day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
