Kicking PancreAS™ 5K - Newfoundland
Kicking PancreAS™ 5K takes place on May 30, 2026 at the Royal St. John's Regatta Boathouse in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The event is a 5 km run/walk organized by Craig's Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society to support pancreatic cancer awareness, patient services, healthcare education, and research in Canada.
The 2025 edition had over 140 participants and achieved a 25% increase in donations, raising more than CA$10,000. Organizers set a participant target of 180 for 2026. Fundraising figures are displayed on the event pages; at the time of publication some amounts have already been raised toward broader goals.
Participants receive a finisher medal, a running bib, and event swag. Organizers encourage wearing purple and glow-in-the-dark gear, and costumes are noted as welcome. Race kit pickup is scheduled the day before the event at the Running Room on Rowan Street in St. John's.
Registration categories include individual, family (minimum three, maximum five members), youth, and team rates. The event listing notes that spots are limited and that there is no onsite registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
