Kharites Works Charity 5K & Community Walk

Kharites Works Charity 5K and Community Walk

The event is a community run and walk held in March 2027 at Eisenhower Park in San Antonio. It supports Kharites Works' outreach, resource, and advocacy efforts for individuals and families across the San Antonio area. The gathering brings together runners, walkers, volunteers, and families for a morning of organized activity with community focus.

Multiple race and walk options are offered, with participant benefits varying by distance. Distances include:

• 50 m youth dash for children 10 and under, with event shirt and finisher medal.
• 1 mile fun walk or run for all ages, with event tee and finisher medal.
• 5K (3.1 miles) chip timed race for runners and walkers, with awards for top finishers and age groups.

A volunteer option is available; volunteers assist with set up, take down, and check in, and receive a volunteer shirt plus snacks and refreshments during the event. Tickets are listed for different participant categories and include youth and adult pricing tiers. The event description notes a seasonal, community-focused atmosphere and frames participation as a way to support local outreach work.
