Kent Spring Marathon & Half Marathon
The event relocated to Woodchurch for 2027 and offers both a marathon and a half marathon on tarmac roads in the countryside around Woodchurch, Ashford, Kent. The marathon is run over two laps and the half marathon is a single lap on the same measured route. Both races carry UKA licences and are accurately measured. There is a six hour cut off for the event; entrants who expect to take longer should contact the organiser.
Route maps and GPX files are available for download. The course uses undulating, quiet, wide lanes and passes through open fields in the area sometimes described as the Garden of Kent. Race highlights listed for the event include countryside scenery, volunteer support and a friendly atmosphere.
Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, trophies and prizes for leading runners, and free parking at the race HQ on Woodchurch Green, Woodchurch, Ashford, Kent TN26 3PE.
