About the race
The Kaagloop is one of the first running events in West-Friesland following the cross-country season, held annually on the last Sunday of January. The race features a fast course entirely on paved asphalt, starting from the Westrand sports park and winding through the village of Wervershoof, alongside the Kagerbos and IJsselmeerdijk. Participants can choose between 10 km and 16 km competitive runs, with categories for both men and women, as well as a 5 km recreational run and a Kids Run for school-aged children.
The event also includes a special title for the fastest runner from Wervershoof. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
