5K for K9s - Lewis Center (2026)
The 5K for K9s is an annual charity 5K run/walk held at the Alum Creek State Park Beach Area in Lewis Center, Ohio on September 26, 2026. The event is organized by Friends of the Shelter, an all-volunteer nonprofit, and is pet-friendly; dogs are welcome. All funds raised support medical care at the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center, with the organizers stating that 100% of proceeds go directly to shelter dogs.
