34th Annual JW Tiger 5K
The 34th Annual JW Tiger 5K is scheduled for August 14, 2027 in Meriden, Kansas at 210 N Miller. The event is a fundraiser for the high school cross country team; proceeds are intended to help purchase food, snacks, drinks and equipment for the team.
Participants may run in person or virtually. Virtual participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal by mail. The in-person race will be timed by Morgan Sports. Awards include medals for first through third place for both male and female runners in the following age categories: 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; and 70 and over. Pottery awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, with the pottery donated by the high school art teacher.
