Just Run Lake County 5K
Just Run Lake County is a community program that supports schools and youth organizations in promoting fitness and healthy lifestyle choices while addressing childhood obesity and related illnesses. The program also promotes physical activity, good citizenship, healthy eating, pride in accomplishment, and family involvement.
The annual event concludes the program with a 5 kilometer run at Fairport Harbor Beach in Fairport Harbor, Ohio. Friends and family attend as participants and supporters; family and friends are welcome and encouraged to join the 5K.
Two registration options are listed for the event. The Just Run Program registration opens January 19, 2026 and closes March 31, 2026 with a registration fee of $20. The Friends and Family registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes on May 23, 2026 with a registration fee of $35.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at Second Sole Mentor on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22. Times for packet pick-up are Thursday 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
