Junior Leadership Run 5K presented by Pointe Homes
The Junior Leadership Run 5K is a community running event on October 3, 2026 at Deadbeach Brewery, 3200 Durazno, El Paso, Texas. The event includes a main 5K and a Kid's Dash and benefits the revival of the Junior Leadership El Paso program.

The beneficiary program will serve approximately 40 high school students per cohort with a year-long curriculum. The program features monthly full-day leadership sessions with professionals and civic leaders, exposure to key local sectors such as government, healthcare, education, military, business, and the arts, mentorship connections with adult professionals, a capstone community service project, and a formal graduation with an alumni network. The event is hosted by Leadership El Paso Class 47.
Registration fee periods are listed by month and price: Early (July 2026) $40, Standard (August 2026) $47, Final (September 1–26) $55, and Late (September 27–October 1) $60; student pricing for those 18 and under is $25. Awards include a trophy for the overall male and female winners of the 5K and medals for the top three finishers in age categories 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
