Juneteenth Run For Wellness
The Juneteenth Run For Wellness is a community health and culture celebration held in Indianapolis at White River State Park and the Indiana State Museum Lawn. The event recognizes Black freedom, resilience, and excellence while highlighting local physical and mental health groups that provide free services to the community.
Participants take part in a 3.0-mile walk or run that follows scenic downtown pathways. The course offers views of the surrounding park and urban environment. The event includes the following distances:
- 5 km (approx. 3.1 miles)
- 3.0 miles
The gathering features a variety of organized physical activities beyond the main run. The day begins with guided pre-run yoga sessions and intentional warm-ups.
