Event overview
The Jordan River Marathon and Half Marathon take place on September 19, 2026, at East River Front Park (10911 S River Front Pkwy) in South Jordan, Utah. The races use sections of the Jordan River Parkway Trail and pass wetlands, parks, ponds, golf courses, and bridges. The marathon course is 96% paved trail and the half is 95% paved trail. Race capacity is limited to 300 runners.

Course and cutoffs
The marathon lists a total elevation gain of +392 ft; the half marathon lists +226 ft. Aid stations and toilets are located at multiple points on each course. The marathon follows a 7.5 hour overall cutoff; the published finish cutoff time is 2:00 pm. Courses are marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals.
Services, logistics and awards
Packet pickup is Friday 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Salt Lake Running Company in Sandy; race day pickup begins at 5:30 am at the start area. Aid stations offer Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels/waffles, fruit, and other snacks, plus basic first aid supplies. Runners receive a race shirt and a locally made finisher medal. Free race photos are provided by a course photographer and live results are posted. Post-race food includes items from Great Harvest Bread. Free parking is available near the park.
