John 3:17 Ministry in Newport holds the Second Annual Miles for Smiles Run on May 30, 2026 at 1131 Highway 145 S, Newport, AR 72112, US. The route is a simple out and back course that starts from the future John 3:17 transition house on Highway 145 S.

- 3.17 Miles, Entry fee $30 for ages 13 and older
- 3.17 Miles, Child entry free for ages 12 and under
Registration opens March 27, 2026 and closes May 30, 2026. The event charges an entry fee for participants aged 13 and older; children 12 and under may enter at no cost.
All proceeds benefit the John 3:17 Ministry Dental Fund, which supports dental care for women in the ministry program. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers; awards are kept simple so more proceeds can go to program support.
John 3:17 Ministry provides free recovery services to residents and their families on 10 rural acres at the Church at Remmel Community for Christ.
