Jog with a Frog 5K & 1 Mile Walk presented by AQUA DOC Lake and Pond Management
The event is a community fundraiser to raise awareness and support for Project Hope for the Homeless, the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County. It takes place at Project Hope for the Homeless, 25 Freedom Road, Painesville Township, Ohio, located off Newell Street just north of the railroad tracks. Parking is available in the Dyson Corporation parking lot on Freedom Road just west of Project Hope for the Homeless.
Distances offered:
- 5K race: registration fee $25
- 1 Mile Walk: registration fee $20
The 5K includes awards for the top three male finishers and the top three female finishers. Awards are also given to the top three finishers in each of these age groups: 14 and younger, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older. The 1 Mile Walk is untimed and will not receive awards.
T shirts are provided for the first 150 people who register. A guaranteed shirt size is reserved for those who registered by August 22, 2026. Day of event in-person registration plus race bib and shirt distribution will be available at Project Hope for the Homeless. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
