Joburg Ultra 2026
Joburg Ultra 2026 is a multisport triathlon taking place on 2026-12-13 at Cradlemoon Lakeside Game Lodge, 59 Beyers Naude Drive, Muldersdrift, Krugersdorp, Gauteng, South Africa.
The event features multiple individual and relay categories with swim, cycle and run distances as follows.
- Sprint Individual: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Sprint Relay Teams: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard Tri Individual: 1.5 km swim, 40 km cycle, 10 km run
- Standard Relay Team: 1.5 km swim, 40 km cycle, 10 km run
- Aquabike Individual: 2 km swim, 80 km bike
- Ultra Individual: 2 km swim, 80 km bike, 18 km run
- Ultra Relay Team: 2 km swim, 80 km bike, 18 km run
- Sprint Individual Pensioner: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Ultra Individual Pensioner: 2 km swim, 80 km bike, 18 km run
Entry categories have tiered fees. Early bird pre-entries run until 31 January 2026, standard pre-entries run 1 February to 31 July 2026, and late entries run 1 August until race week. Fees differ by category and entry period and include a Triathlon South Africa temporary day licence fee to be paid in addition. Early and standard pre-entries include a goodie bag and race apparel; sprint pre-entries include a pair of socks and standard and ultra pre-entries include a backpack.
