Joburg Ultra 2026
Joburg Ultra 2026 is a multi-distance triathlon held on 13 December 2026 at Cradlemoon Lakeside Game Lodge in Muldersdrift, Krugersdorp, Gauteng. The event offers individual and team entries across several race formats and includes temporary Triathlon South Africa day licence fees for non-licenced participants.
Available race classes and distances:
- Sprint Individual - 750m swim; 20km bike; 5km run
- Standard Tri Individual - 1.5km swim; 40km cycle; 10km run
- Aquabike Individual - 2km swim; 80km bike
- Ultra Individual - 2km swim; 80km bike; 18km run
- Relay teams available for Sprint, Standard and Ultra with 2 or 3 participants
Entry periods and included items are tiered by date. Early bird entries run until 31 January 2026 and are labelled pre-entries only. Standard entries run from 1 February to 31 July 2026. Late entries run from 1 August until race week. Early bird and standard entries include a goodie bag and race apparel, while late entries do not include these items. Specific entry fees vary by class and entry period and separate temporary licence fees apply per class.
Age requirements are specified for some classes, for example Sprint Individual minimum age 16 years and Ultra Individual minimum age 18 years. Pensioner rates are available for eligible Sprint and Ultra entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
