Jingle Bell 6K Run and 2 Mile Walk
The event is an annual community run and walk held in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center on December 5, 2026. The program offers two options for participants: a 6K run and a 2 Mile walk.
Proceeds benefit the Miracle Fund, which provides assistance to improve the quality of life for long-term care residents of the Respiratory Care Center at Rockcastle Regional in Mount Vernon. The course highlights historic Renfro Valley and includes an aid and water station at the turnaround. Officials will direct and supervise the course. The run and walk start and finish at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center.
Registration details include a pre-registration fee of $25 through November 23 and a $30 registration rate beginning November 20 and continuing through race day. Students age 4 to 18 may participate free of charge; shirts are not included with free student registration but may be added for an additional fee. Students who complete at least seven races in the series will receive a $25 gift card and a custom t-shirt at the end of the 2026 series.
Awards include an overall cash prize for top male and female finishers, unique age group awards, top walker awards, and a costume contest. Other event features noted are a commemorative long sleeve shirt for pre-registered participants, hospitality with refreshments, and a Santa Surprise Gift Grab along the course.
