The Jesteburg People's Run is an annual running competition organized by VfL Jesteburg and is part of the Sparkassen-Heidjer-Cup. The event offers various distances, including 5 km and 10 km runs as well as walking routes. For children, there are shorter distances of 400 m, 800 m, and 2.3 km.
The run takes participants through picturesque landscapes around Jesteburg. At the finish area, participants are provided with drinks and the winners are honored. The event is supported by numerous sponsors and offers refreshments through a cafeteria and traditional stands.
