Bon Secours Jerry Kiernan 5K 2026
The Bon Secours Jerry Kiernan 5K is a road race in Listowel, County Kerry, organised by Lios Tuathail AC and held in honour of Listowel Olympian Jerry Kiernan. The course starts in Gurtinard, follows flat tarmac streets, and finishes at Listowel Square. The event is permitted by Athletics Ireland, certificate number 26/251.
The event distance is 5 km. Timing is fully chip-timed by Pop Up Races and the course is accurately measured. The first 500 participants receive a technical race t-shirt and a commemorative finisher medal. Prize money totals over €2,000 and is allocated to overall top finishers and individual age categories. Post-race refreshments are provided. The event is open to participants aged 13 and over and welcomes elite athletes, casual runners, first-time entrants, and walkers.
