Event details
The World Cup 60th Anniversary event takes place on 4 and 5 July 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. Events are held over two days: on 4 July there is a marathon (Marathon 1, clockwise) and a half marathon (clockwise); on 5 July there is a second marathon (Marathon 2, anti-clockwise). Entry fees are listed as £39.99 per marathon and £34.99 for the half marathon. All entrants must be 18 years or over on the day of the event. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules.
Course, rules and facilities
The courses use laps around Caldecotte Lake with route descriptions provided at the event location. Key course details include:
- Marathon - 7½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake (Marathon 1 clockwise; Marathon 2 anti-clockwise)
- Half Marathon - 3½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake (clockwise)
- 50k option - available on Marathon 1
There is a hard time limit of 7:00 hours for each marathon; finishers over 7:00 will be recorded as DNF. The half marathon limit is 4:00 hours. Finishers of each event receive a unique bespoke medal. Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets available every lap of the lake course.
