Javornícka stovka
Javornícka stovka is a mountain ultramarathon and long-distance march held in the Javorníky mountain range. The event is part of the Slovak Ultra Trail League and serves as a qualifying race for the Western States Endurance Run (WSER). Participants can also earn ITRA points for completing the course.
The event takes place over two days in October. The route starts in the town of Čadca and concludes in Lysá pod Makytou. The organizers provide specific logistics for participants, including transport options to the starting location and a luggage transport service that moves belongings from the start to the finish area. Accommodation options are available in Čadca for those arriving before the event.
Safety and medical assistance are provided throughout the course. Participants must carry mandatory equipment as specified by the event rules. The competition is open to individuals through an online registration process. In addition to the athletic competition, the event promotes social causes by providing information on how to become a bone marrow donor.
The course follows mountain trails and is evaluated based on standard ultra-trail criteria. Volunteers support the event's operations at various points along the track. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
