QC Java Jog at Case Creek Trails
QC Java Jog takes place on October 4, 2026 at Case Creek Trails in Coal Valley, Illinois. The event is a coffee-themed fun run and walk held on trails that pass through pastures and woodlands in Case Creek Valley.
Available distances include:
- 2K Fun Run / Walk
- 5K Fun Run / Walk
- Kids 2K and 5K (ages 5 to 15, must be accompanied by an adult)
Each participant receives a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate after the run. The course features multiple aid stations, including a vanilla iced coffee station, and a nutrition table with donuts and other treats. Optional event swag is offered, such as a custom T-shirt, a finisher medal or dog tag, and a custom race bib.
The event is a fun run and will not be timed; finish times are not recorded and participants may walk or run at their own pace. Proceeds support the Rock Island County Animal Care and Control Shelter through QC PAWS. Race-day packet pickup is available the morning of the event between 7:30 am and 8:15 am. The run goes on in normal weather and may be cancelled or postponed by a few hours only in cases of extreme weather. Certain areas are designated for spectators.
