Jakarta Running Festival Marathon (25 October 2026)
The marathon takes place on Sunday, 25 October 2026 at Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in Jakarta. The course distance is 42,195 km.
Organizers apply a strict marathon cut-off time of 5 hours to reduce runners' exposure to heat and humidity; participants are expected to be able to complete the distance within this limit. Age eligibility is 17 to 90 years old on race day.
Entitlements include a bib number and race jersey. A finisher jersey and finisher medal are provided only to participants who complete the race before the designated cut-off time.
Competition categories are Open, National, Master National 40-49, and Master National 50+. Winners are the first three finishers in each category by fastest finish time measured from the start. Potential winners must present original government-issued identification for verification within 30 minutes or risk disqualification. The organizers may disqualify participants for incorrect data or for use of substances prohibited by applicable athletics regulations, and results for certain open categories are subject to official doping test confirmation.
Prize money is subject to Indonesian tax rules: foreigners 20%, Indonesian citizens with NPWP 5%, and Indonesian citizens without NPWP 6%.
