The JAIMIE COX MEMORIAL RUN takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Roscoe, IL. The event is in its ninth year. Distances offered include:

Registration opens June 1, 2026 at 12:30am CDT. Event options and listed prices are: 5K Run or 2-Mile Walk participant ($30), Kids Registration (12 and under, youth t-shirt only; open to ages 1-13) ($15), and Virtual Supporter ($30).

Course and event details

The on-site start and finish location is Roscoe Middle School (RMS), at 6121 Elevator Road, Roscoe, IL 61073. The route proceeds west to the Stone Bridge Trail, then turns south and follows a crushed limestone path to a halfway turnaround before returning to RMS. The course includes a variety of running surfaces, including gravel. Course maps and a parking map are provided by the organizer. Proceeds support an annual donation to the Rockton Police Association's Jaimie Cox Memorial Scholarship. Sponsors listed include PBPA6, Meiborg Inc., and Blue815.
