Jaimie Cox Memorial Run
The Jaimie Cox Memorial Run is a nature-based out-and-back event in Roscoe, Illinois. The course starts at Roscoe Middle School and proceeds west toward the local Stone Bridge Trail before turning south onto a crushed limestone path, reaching a midpoint and returning to the school. The route includes sections of gravel and varied running surfaces.
Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 2 Mile Walk
A water station is located on the course and is passed twice on the out-and-back route. Bicycles, roller blades, and motorized transportation are not permitted on the course. Parking is available at Roscoe Middle School and at Life Church.
There are separate registration options for general participants and for youth 12 and under; the youth registration includes a youth t-shirt only. Registration opens on June 1 and closes on October 16. Published registration fees are $30 for the general participant entry and $20 for the youth t-shirt entry.
