Jaclynstrong Glow 5K Walk/Run
The Jaclynstrong Glow 5K Walk/Run is a community athletics event held at Album Park in El Paso. This event focuses on raising awareness and providing support for individuals and families impacted by traumatic brain injury (TBI). Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 mile walk or run
The event includes an opening ceremony dedicated to honoring TBI survivors and their families. Participants are encouraged to wear their own glow-in-the-dark shirts or lights, and the organizers provide glow sticks to all attendees. Teams are also welcome to wear themed outfits for the occasion.
Registration includes an event t-shirt. The proceeds from the event are directed to the Jaclynstrong Foundation through the Paso del Norte Community Foundation. These funds support mentorship programs, advocacy efforts, and financial assistance for those navigating recovery from traumatic brain injuries.
