Jacan Brown/Spring Run BB-1 Mile Run/Walk & JH-5K Run
The 49th Jacan Brown Coca-Cola Spring Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Springfield, Georgia. The event is based at the Effingham County Board of Education Gym, 405 N. Ash St, Springfield, GA 31329.
The program includes the following distances:
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- JH-5K Run
Registration fees are listed as $15 for the BB-1 Mile Run/Walk and $35 for the JH-5K Run. Race day registration is not available. A race day medal is provided to participants who register by February 20, 2026. ERS Non-Chip Timing will be used for timing and ERS handles registration.
Packet pick-up is available on February 26 and 27, 2026, at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex and also 30 minutes before the race on the day of the event.
Awards for the JH-5K include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for each age division for male and female categories. The BB-1 Mile Run/Walk also awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals by age group. A special award will be given as a trophy to the school with the most participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
