Footprints in the snow 2026
Footprints in the snow 2026 is the second edition of a Christmas 5 km run or walk hosted by DOrunning with SMD Active Together. The event takes place at the Trent Navigation Inn on Meadow Lane in Nottingham and uses an easy to navigate signposted river route supervised by marshals. The race village is located inside the Big Shed close to the start and finish area.
A donation from every entry will go to Footprints Conductive Education Centre, a charity supporting children with mobility and communication difficulties across the East Midlands. Organisers will also collect food donations on the day to support the Bestwood and Bulwell Food Bank.
Participants receive an event t-shirt, an official finishing time, a goody bag and a mince pie. Hot refreshments will be available and the venue provides indoor shelter, toilet facilities and a secure bag drop. Free parking is listed and under 18s may attend with a parent or legal guardian. Prizes are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers. A virtual option is offered so participants can take part remotely and receive race day items in advance. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
