It's Christmas 5km 2026
It's Christmas 5km is a festive community run or walk taking place on Sunday, 20 December 2026 at the Trent Navigation Inn, 17 Meadow Lane, Nottingham NG2 3HS. The event is hosted by DOrunning with SMD Active Together and uses an easy to navigate, signposted river route with marshals.
Every entry generates a donation to Tracey's Kitchen, and the event will also collect food donations for the Bestwood and Bulwell Food Bank. The race village will be inside the Big Shed at the Trent Navigation, a short distance from the start and finish area, and will provide hot refreshments, toilets and a secure bag drop.
Participants receive an event t-shirt, an official finishing time, a goody bag and a mince pie. Prizes are planned for the top three male and female finishers. All ages and abilities are welcome to take part, and families, groups, teams and walkers are noted as welcome.
Entries made before 28 April are entered into a draw for a free place at the Robin Hood Half Marathon in 2026. The event is in-person and offers free parking. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
