It's Christmas 5km in Nottingham
It's Christmas 5km takes place on 20 December 2026 at the Trent Navigation Inn, Meadow Lane, Nottingham. The event is presented by DOrunning with support from SMD Active Together and combines a community run or walk with charitable giving.
The route is an easy to navigate signposted river course with marshals. The race village is inside the Big Shed at the Trent Navigation a few yards from the start and finish area. Participants receive an event t-shirt, an official finishing time, a goody bag and a mince pie. Hot refreshments, toilet facilities and a secure bag drop will be available. Free parking is listed.
A donation from every entry will go to Tracey's Kitchen. Food donations will be collected on the day to support Bestwood and Bulwell Food Bank. Entrants who register before 28 April are entered into a draw to win a free place at the Robin Hood Half Marathon in 2026. Prizes are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers. The event notes that those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
