It's Christmas 5km 2026
It's Christmas 5km 2026 is organised by DOrunning with support from SMD Active Together and takes place at the Trent Navigation Inn on Meadow Lane in Nottingham on Sunday 20 December 2026. The event offers a festive 5 km run or walk along a signposted river route supervised by marshals.
The race village is located inside the Big Shed close to the start and finish area. Participants receive an event t-shirt, an official finishing time, a goody bag and a mince pie. Race-day facilities include hot refreshments, toilets, a secure bag drop and free parking.
A donation from every entry will go to Tracey’s Kitchen, and food donations will be collected on the day to support the Bestwood and Bulwell Food Bank. The event is open to all ages and abilities, with under 18s required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. Entries made before 28 April are entered into a draw for a free place at the Robin Hood Half Marathon in 2026. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
