It's Christmas 5km 2026
The event is the second edition of It's Christmas, a community 5 km run or walk held at the Trent Navigation Inn on Meadow Lane in Nottingham. The route follows a signposted river course with marshals and a nearby start and finish. The race village is inside the Big Shed at the Trent Navigation and sits only a short walk from the start and finish area.
Every entry includes an event t-shirt, an official finishing time, a goody bag and a mince pie. Hot refreshments will be available and the venue provides toilet facilities and a secure bag drop. Free parking is listed as available. The event is organised by DOrunning with support from SMD Active Together. A donation from every entry will go to Tracey’s Kitchen, and there will be a collection for the Bestwood and Bulwell Food Bank on the day. The event is open to all ages and abilities, with under 18s required to attend with a parent or legal guardian. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Refunds are permitted up to seven days before the event. Those who enter before 28 April are entered into a draw for a free place at the Robin Hood Half Marathon in 2026.
