Ithaca 5&10 2026
The Ithaca 5&10 is a road race hosted at Ithaca High School in Ithaca, NY, with course loops through the Fall Creek neighborhood. The event offers a 5K and a 10K; the 5K is a single loop and the 10K is two loops of the same course. Both races start and finish at the high school and use the school parking lot bus lane for the finish. There is ample free parking in the high school lots off Cayuga Street and Lake Street.
Distances:
- 5K: single loop through Fall Creek and past Ithaca Falls viewpoint.
- 10K: two loops of the 5K course.
- Family Fun Run: free one mile for children on sidewalks and bike paths around Boynton Middle School.
Registration is required online and closes at 1:00 PM the day before the race; day-of online registration is possible with a credit card only. Entry fees are $25 through September 6 and $45 after that; FLRC members may deduct $5 and runners 18 and under register free. A coupon code is available to waive the fee for those with financial need.
The 10K serves as the RRCA Eastern Regional Championship Race. The course is open to traffic in places and course marshals will assist crossings. There are two water stations on course, post-race refreshments, and no changing facilities or showers. Awards include overall and age-group categories with time standards for overall awards.
