Event overview
The Isle of Harris event comprises a half marathon, a 5K and a fun run on Harris, Scotland. The race base is within the sports hub at the local high school in West Tarbert, a short walk from the ferry terminal. Entries for 2026 close on Sunday 28 June 2026.

Course and logistics
The half marathon route starts just north of Borve and finishes on the A859 onto Old Pier Road behind the school in Tarbert. The course reaches a highest point of 140 m and follows coastal roads past sandy beaches before crossing loch-strewn moorland and descending toward Tarbert. Water stops are provided at roughly 3 mile intervals. Buses transport competitors from the school bus turning area to the start line at Borve Lodge. The final stretch runs along Old Pier Road with the finish in line with the western edge of the sports field.
Entries, fees and awards
Published entry fees are: Half Marathon £36, 5K £20, Fun Run £5, plus a booking fee. Refunds are not normally offered except in exceptional circumstances; deferrals to the following year may be possible and swaps are not available. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall, male and female 40 / 50 / 60 age categories, 1st local male and female, and 1st team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
